COMPETITION Jubilee Ltd Edition Lava Lamp

Here at Pearl and Earl HQ we were more than a little jolly when we received a parcel of 2  mad limited edition Lava Lamps by the lovely folk at MATHMOS who invented this iconic item in the 60′s

Still made in the UK (no Chinese imports here) they have produced this limited edition turquoise and red lamp to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.  Each one comes boxed with a numbered certificate with your lava lamps limited number on it (only 1000 were made and No 1 was auctioned for the Queens Charities)

…  so you can light up your street party in style!…  (or keep it in your kitchen like we have)

What do you have to do?

Simply comment below why you have to have this lamp..  and follow our blog (GO TO OUR HOME PAGE and its at the top of the column)  – and we will use a randomiser next Friday 1st June to pick a winner!

Win A VW Camper Van…

For those of you who love VW Camper Van’s but are yet to own one all of your own, why not enter our competition we are running with our lovely friends from Vanilla Splits.  They have 12 little pimped up classics (and one Mr McHenry was the original 1962 Splitty used by Matchbox for their model van).
Here is Dylan on a jaunt with us to the seaside at the Witterings in December (a camper van is for Christmas not just for one Summer!).

Parasol Parade

Today was the start of the Arundel Festival – our home town. The town crier heralded the start as the ‘make your own parasol parade’ meandered from the Castle to the Town Square. We love all these Eccentrically British traditions – especially when our Pearl and Earl posse bagged 1st and 2nd prize! (Yeah Batman and Flower Parasol). The festival runs for 10 days, so if you are in the area why not pop along and enjoy the festivities.
