Pearl and Earl is the creation of award winning designer Jacqui Pearce.

Formally part of the fashion world – she left her day job in 2004 and produced her first collection of knitwear ‘Granny Knits’, which went into Selfridges London. In 2007 her home collection was relaunched as Pearl and Earl … Her crafty side was rebranded JACQUI P as her craft portfolio grew to encompass all crafts.

Jacqui still designs and illustrates the product range from her studio in historic Arundel, West Sussex..   Her creative ventures are filled with her signature style of Nostalgic Chic...   which is a heady combination of personal fond memories of the past, meets modern design with a clash of colour, pattern, and a sprinkling of wit and humour…

She regularly collaborates with like minded folk on different things.. like her projects with Dame Jacqueline Wilson and a commission for the Royal Wedding in 2011.   Jacqui also regularly contributes to editorial as well as writing a monthly column on trends in crafts.  Her first book Supersize Stitches is being published worldwide in 2012, followed by 2 more in 2013.

We have styled films, tv, brand campaigns and weddings and events with our bespoke paper decoration styling – like The Midwives, TInker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sky One, and Marmite.

Whilst we have been lucky enough to win lots of awards for our businesses – they are still very much small family concerns run with a small team in our home town of historic Arundel – in the Sussex Downs National Park in the south of England.

But we couldn’t do any of this without our lovely customers – and for that we thank you ..
